Price rule using Calculator scope in Salesforce CPQ
(Here we take the scenario like when the Stopwatch Product
is configured in the quote line means that quantity will populate to the
Desktop product )
Before that,
we have to create the summary variable for the Desktop computer
Let’s we
need to create the Price rule
Go to the CPQ
app à
select Price Rules à New
1. Price Rule name à Populate the quantity of Stopwatch products to Desktop products & Evaluation Scope à Calculator & Calculator Evaluation Event à On calculate,After calculation & Configuration Evaluation Event à Save & Active à True & Condition Met à All & Save
Then need to
add the Price condition
Select Price condition à New
1. Choose Object à Quoteline & Field à Product code
1. 2. Operator à equals & Filter Type à Value & Filter value à SMARTWATCH & Save
Now, We need to Price action go to price action à New
1. Target Object à
Quote line & Target Field à SBQQ_Quantity__c &
Source Varibale à choose Desktop
variable & Save
So we were done with all the configuration and go to the
quote and select any quote add the smartwatch product with a quantity of 2 then
Add the desktop product with a quantity of 6
