how to create the twin fields between the product and quote line object in
salesforce cpq
* From the Object manager select the product
object
* In that object
create a new field as Computer with picklist data-type and picklist value as Software and hardware
* Now we need to create
the same field in another object
* Here we select
the Quote line object from the Qbject manager
* In that object create a
new same field with the same API as what we create in the product
object
* Then choose one product
and add the computer picklist value as software
* Here I choose the
product as a smartwatch and choose one of the
picklist values as software in the computer
field and save the product
* Now we need to create
the quote line in the quote and see the results
* From Quote
----->Edit lines----->add products---->add smartwatch
product
and save the quote line
* Now select quote
line in quote related tab and choose our quote line record to scroll
down and see the computer field which is updated as automatically
as the software
