CREATE CUSTOM OBJECT IN SALESFORCE

 (FOR EXAMPLE HERE WE TAKE AN OBJECT NAME AS COMPANY OBJECT AND LET SEE HOW TO CREATE THE COMPANY OBJECT)

* GO TO SET-UP AND SELECT THE OBJECT MANAGER

* FROM THE OBJECT MANAGER CHOOSE CREATE OBJECT DROP DOWN SELECT CUSTOM OBJECT

*FROM CUSTOM OBJECT GIVENTHE FOLLOWING VALUES

   IN LABEL GIVE COMPANY

   IN PLURAL LABEL GIVE COMPANIES

   IN ENTER RECORD NAME LABEL AND FORMAT(This is the Field)

    GIVE RECORD NAME AS COMPANY NAME CHOOSE DATATYPE AS TEXT

   IN OPTIONAL FEATURE IF YOU WANT ANY FEATURE FOR YOUR OBJECT SELECT HERE

   CHECKED THE ALLOW SEARCH CHECKBOX

* THEN CHECKED THE LAUNCH NEW CUSTOM TAB WIZARD AFTER SAVING THE CUSTOM OBJECT CHECKBOX AND CLICK SAVE 

* NEXT,OBJECT TAB LAYOUT WILL OPEN,IN THAT  OBJECT WILL AUTOMATICALLY POPULATED AND SELECT TAB STYLE USING SEARCH ICON AND SELECT ANY STYLE

* THE GIVE THE DESCRIBTION AS THIS IS THE CUSTOM OBJECT(Not a Mandatory) AND SELECT NEXT

* DON'T CHNAGE ANY FIELDS IN ADD TO PROFILE SIMPLY SELECT NEXT

* NEXT,CHOOSE ANY APPLICATION IN ADD TO CUSTOM APPS LAYOUT AND SELECT SAVE

* NOW THE COMPANY OBJECT IS CREATED

CREATE TASK WHEN LEAD IS CREATED OR UPDATED USING FLOW IN SALESFORCE

 (BEFORE WE CREATE FLOW, WE HAVE TO CREATE TWO CUSTOM FIELDS IN THE LEAD OBJECT)

* FROM SETUP, CLICK OBJECT MANAGER AND SELECT LEAD OBJECT 

* FROM THE LEAD OBJECT, SELECT FIELD&RELATIONSHIP  AND CHOOSE NEW TO CREATE TWO FIELDS

* FIRST CHOOSE  DATATYPE AS A PICKLIST AND GIVE THE FOLLOWING VALUE CALL, WHATSAPP, FACEBOOK, AND WEBSITE GIVE THE NAME AS A FOLLOW-UP SUBJECT AND SAVE THE FIELD

*NEXT FIELD CHOOSE DATATYPE AS A DATE AND GIVE THE NAME AS A FOLLOW-UP DATE AND SAVE THE FIELD 

*NEXT, FROM SETUP CHOOSE HOME AND SEARCH AS FLOW AND SELECT 

* FROM THE FLOW SELECT NEW FLOW, CHOOSE RECORD-TRIGGERED FLOW THEN CHOOSE OBJECT AS LEAD AND SELECT CONFIGURE TRIGGER AS A RECORD IS CREATED OR UPDATED AND SELECT OPTIMIZE THE FLOW FOR  AS ACTIONS AND RELATED RECORDS, AND SELECT DONE

* AND CHANGE THE LAYOUT AS FREE FORM FROM AUTO-LAYOUT  AND FROM THE TOOLBOX DRAG THE DECISION ELEMENT AND PLACE IT OVER THE LAYOUT

* FROM DECISION GIVE THE FIRST DECISION NAME AS FOLLOW-UP CREATED TASK CREATED AND IN CONDITION CHOOSE ANY CONDITION IS MET(OR) AND IN RESOURCE GIVE 

FOLLOW UP DATE IS NULL  EQUAL TO FALSE 


 
AND 

CHOOSE ONLY IF THE RECORD THAT TRIGGERED THE FLOW TO RUN IS UPDATED TO MEET THE CONDITION REQUIREMENTS 

* FROM DECISION GIVE THE SECOND DECISION(Click + From Outcome Order ) NAME AS FOLLOW-UP LEAD UPDATED AND IN CONDITION CHOOSE ANY CONDITION IS MET(AND) AND RESOURCE GIVE

                    FOLLOW UPDATE IS CHANGED EQUAL TO TRUE

          AND THE FOLLOW-UP DATE IS NULL EQUAL TO FALSE

 AND SELECT DONE 



* NEXT, DRAG THE TASK ELEMENT FROM THE TOOLBOX AND PLACE IT OVER THE LAYOUT

GIVE FOLLOWING VALUE 

SELECT ONE FOR  RECORDS TO CREATE

SELECT USE SEPARATE  RESOURCE, LITERAL VALUES FOR SET OF FIELD RECORDS

CHOOSE A TASK IN THE OBJECT

SET THE FIELD VALUE AS 

                    FIELD  ACTIVITY   VALUE FOLLOW-UP DATE

                   FIELD  SUBJECT  VALUE FOLLOW-UP SUBJECT

                     FIELD WHOLE VALUE LEAD ID

AND SELECT DONE




* NEXT, DRAG ANOTHER TASK ELEMENT FROM THE TOOLBOX AND PLACE IT OVER THE LAYOUT AND FOLLOW THE ABOVE SAME STEPS TO CREATE A SECOND TASK




* NEXT CHANGE THE FREE-FORM LAYOUT TO AUTOLAYOUT AND SAVE THE FLOW 

AND ACTIVATE THE FLOW

AND THE FINAL RESULT IS

CREATE CONFIGURATION ATTRIBUTES IN SALESFORCE CPQ

CONFIGURATION ATTRIBUTES

(Here we take one example to create the configuration attributes in CPQ)

(Here we take the system category as a CONFIGURATION ATTRIBUTES and see how to  create..?)

* First we have to create our ca field in the product option object 

* Go to set-up, click OBJECT MANAGER, and choose PRODUCT OPTION 

* Select FIELD&REALTIONSHIP to create a new field AS SYSTEM CATEGORY with  datatype as PICKLIST and give the picklist value as HARDWARE and SOFTWARE  and save the field





* Next, copy the field name of SYSTEM_CATEGORY__c field from the PRODUCT OPTION object 

* From OBJECT MANAGER choose CONFIGURATION ATTRIBUTES object, click FIELD&REALTIONSHIP search TARGET FIELD, and click that field

* From the TARGET FIELD scroll down in PICKLIST VALUE add a new value as a copied field of SYSTEM_CATEGORY__c over there and select RECORD TYPE CHECKBOX automatically it selects both global and configuration attributes and saves the target field





* Next, go to APP LAUNCHER search & select PRODUCT, and choose the product as DESKTOP COMPUTER

* From desktop product RELATED select CONFIGURATION ATTRIBUTES and create NEW 

* In the CONFIGURATION ATTRIBUTES layout give ATTRIBUTE NAME AS COMPUTER and in ROW ORDER give 10 then in TARGET FIELD choose SYSTEM_CATEGORY__c and save it



* Now, click QUOTES from APP LAUNCHER and select any quotes, EDIT QUOTE LINES and click ADD PRODUCT select DESKTOP COMPUTER

* In CONFIGURE PRODUCT layout, below the desktop computer you see our created attributes of SYSTEM CATEGORY

* ON TIME ENTRIES OBJECT CREATE TWO FIELDS AS START TIME AND END TIME USING   FIELD TYPE TIME

* NEXT, TO CREATE ANOTHER FIELD AS TOTAL TIME USING FORMULA  FIELD 

*AND IN FORMULA CHOOSE FORMULA RETURN TYPE AS NUMBER WITH 2 DECIMAL PLACES

* AND GIVE THE BELOW FORMULA IN THE ADAVNCED FORMULA AREA

( HOUR(END_TIME__c)  -  HOUR(START_TIME__c)) + (( MINUTE( END_TIME__c )  -  MINUTE( START_TIME__c ))/60)

* CHECK WITH SYNTAX ERROR AND SAVE THE FIELD

* NOW GO BACK TO TIME ENTRIES IN APP LAUNCHER 

* CREATE NEW TIME ENTRIES BY SELECT NEW 

* THEN GIVE  START TIME AND END TIME VALUE AND CLICK SAVE 

* NOW YOU GET TOTAL TIME ON THE RECORD PAGE
